Agneepath Recruitment 2022: On June 14, 2022, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced the Agneepath scheme, which focuses on recruiting Indian youths for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and India Air Force. Agneepath recruitment would add 46,000 soldiers to the Indian armed forces each year.

“Today, the Cabinet Committee on Security made a historic decision to approve the transformative scheme of ‘Agnipath,'” Rajnath Singh said.

Through Agneepath recruitment 2022, 46,000 soldiers will be recruited for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and India Air Force for a four-year period. Around 25% of the 46,000 soldiers would be appointed for an additional 15-year term on permanent commission. Rest are eligible for a one-time Seva Nidhi of Rs. 11.71 lakh plus interest. Please keep in mind that this amount is tax-free and can be used to fund one’s future dreams.

Soldiers recruited through the Agnipath model will be referred to as ‘Agniveers.’The Agniveers will have their own rank in each of the three services, as well as their own insignia on their uniform.Women will be inducted into the armed forces as part of the Agnipath scheme, according to Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar.

Agneepath 2022 recruitment is expected to begin in September 2022. The Indian armed forces will hold recruitment rallies in various locations, and selected 4-year soldiers will receive a monthly salary of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 plus allowances.

Agneepath 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Armed Forces will hold various recruitment rallies on various campuses. They will also hold specialised rallies and campus interviews at a variety of technical institutions, including the National Skills Qualifications Framework and ITI colleges.

Age Restrictions: A candidate’s age must be between 17.5 and 21 years old.

Soldier General Duty

Candidates should have passed class X or SSLC with an aggregate of 45%. The percentage criterion is not applicable in case of a candidate having higher qualification.

Soldier Nursing Assistant

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or intermediate with subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English and scored at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in each individual subject.

Soldier Technical

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or intermediate with subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.

Soldier Clerk / StoreKeeper Technical

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or intermediate with either Arts, science, or commerce with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in each individual subject.

What is Agneepath Scheme?

Many of us are wondering, “What is the agneepath scheme?”

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the agneepath scheme, which primarily focuses on recruiting Indian youth as soldiers in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and India Air Force for a four-year period at first. For soldiers selected for permanent commission, the period can be extended for another 15 years.

Candidates hired under the agneepath scheme will be referred to as Agniveers, and they will receive four years of full-fledged training from the Armed Forces.

Agniveer Corpus Fund:

Soldiers who leave after four years will receive Rs 11.71 lakh as Seva Nidhi Package, which is tax-free.They will also receive a Rs 48 lakh life insurance policy during their service in the Indian armed forces.

First Batch in 2023

The first recruitment process under this scheme is expected to begin within 90 days, with the first batch arriving in 2023. The Ministry of Defense has launched a new recruitment scheme for the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
